Route 289 on Temporary Diversion

Due to a burst water main and emergency repairs taking place, Route 289 is currently diverted. Route 289 at Lombard Roundabout will turn right along Mitcham Road ( Beddington Terrace ) arcoss Mitcham Common into the borough of Merton, left down Beddington Lane past the golf club and left into Coomber Way around Valley Park which is formed of house's, shop's and a leisure complex. Buses will then continue along Purley Way along the normal Route twoards Purley. It is unknown when this diversion will end. I hope you enjoy reading this post.
