New Enviro400's For Route 275 Delayed

As most of us will know, Route 275 has been awarded to Stagecoach with brand new Enviro400's from 3rd March 2012. This has been delayed due to problems deciding what garage to operate the Route from. Some of the buses are still currently being built at ADL's Falkirk plant situated in Scotland. Some are at present passing through Leyland Business Park situated in Lancashire. 1. The Enviro 400s for route 275 were ordered when the contract award was announced, they are not delayed but are being delivered as per the manurfacturers delivery schedule. The issue is that ADL could not build them in time for the contract start. To suggest that buses are arriving late because the intended garage of operation was changed is fantasy.....

    1. Actually when Route 275 was awarded to Stagecoach, it was planned to operate the Route from there Barking garage, however they recently decided to operate it from there Leyton garage. The new buses will now enter service over 2 months late.
