Why are the Streetlites unpopular they are so comfortable to ride as a passenger. They are so identical to there double deck sister B9TL 10.4m/Gemini 2. I do hope more bus companies order Streetlites. Wrightbus Definately know how to make good buses
ReplyDeleteI agree, I like them, drivers don't.
DeleteWhat happened to the order of Streetlites for First Londons route 226 ?
ReplyDeleteScrapped.
DeleteYeah I agree - Streetlites are good especially with that Voith gearbox and nice styling.
ReplyDeleteNot sure they'd be able to do 65-70mph (if someone told you then alright - but all buses should be limited to 50-59mph by law).
Nice pictures and good post!

No if you push it they can do up to 70 mph. Yeah I like them, though a driver I spoke to prefers the 200's.
DeleteRoute 88 received the new E40H before the contract renewal of the route the E40H were allocated to, route 87. I think Wednesday was when I saw the first E40H on the 88.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Saw a new 88 last Saturday. They look very comfortable. Did you see EH1,2,3,4,5? I saw two. Surprised you didn't get any pictures of them. Still a good post though!
ReplyDeleteI didn't see 1, 2,3,4,5 but saw a picture on Flickr.
